About Us
Mondo Travel has provided an individualised professional corporate and leisure travel service to local, intra/inter-state and overseas clients since 1987.

The Proprietor, Richard Allen, has been in the travel industry since 1984 and has a broad range of travel and business expertise to ensure the best possible service to his clients. In addition, Mary Elgar, Travel Manager has been in the travel industry since 1997.
Mondo Travel welcomes Arti Shah, Travel Manager to our agency. Arti has a wealth of experience in travel over many years in the travel industry both in Australia and the UK and Africa
Between the three of us, we have visited over 70 countries - a wealth of experience for you to tap into. We are constantly travelling to new destinations and updating our knowledge on hotels, countries, sightseeing etc.
We strongly believe in providing service to our clients - we do not rush you into purchasing holidays, nor do we perch you on stools to hurry you up. Our travel agency offers a great place to sit and discuss your travel needs, so that you get to where you want, when you want. Most importantly, we are an independent agency and therefore sell the right product for your holiday needs.
We believe it is our role to offer you the best value flight of the day and to help you to build your own holiday.
The agency is fully licensed and is a member of NAITA, the National Association of Independent Travel Agents, and also a member of the Travel Compensation Fund and also is an Accredited International Cruise Council member. Your travel is fully guaranteed by our professional credentials.

To ensure our clients get the best service, we offer a 24 hr service to all our clients by phone, fax or email, and this extends to queries after departure. Tickets can be mailed or emailed out if you are unable to come into our agency.
The most important information for us before you book are your travel preferences. You may have a preferred carrier, or be a member of a Frequent Flyer programme. You may prefer to stay at certain hotels or require business lounges at the hotel or airport. If you have dietary or disability requirements, letting us know at the time of booking will ensure that your travel plans suit your needs. Once a booking has been made, it may be difficult or costly to change it.
Corporate clients are invoiced with nett payment strictly seven days from date of invoice.
TERMS OF TRADE
Mondo Travel endorses all travel bookings and associated services with our professional accreditation and industry credentials.
Any monies paid or commitments made are accepted subject to these TERMS OF TRADE and SCHEDULE OF FEES in addition to those stipulated by respective Carriers, Tour Operators, Travel Companies and other related services rendered by Mondo Travel as part of your travel needs.
Mondo Travel acts as an agent on behalf of Carriers, Suppliers, Tour Operators and associated Travel related companies only. Our Terms of Trade/Schedule of Fees conditions as well as any of the associated Travel and Tour Operators' "Terms" or "Fees" apply to yourself, your family or any travelling companions that you represent or make payments on their behalf.
Full explanation will be given by Mondo Travel staff of all relevant documentation prior to you making any financial commitments with Mondo Travel.
Schedule of Fees for Service
- Cancellation/amendment fees will apply to all bookings
- Courier delivery fees will be charged unless through DX Travcour
- International phone calls will be charged at $10 per minute
- International faxes will be charged at $10/page per fax
- Money clearance for dishonoured or urgently cleared cheques will be charged $30 plus banking institution's fees
- Travel insurance is strongly recommended by Mondo Travel for all travel bookings.
- We have travel insurance policies available for purchase for Australian residents and online travel insurance forms that you can download and send to us for issuing. If you are extending your stay overseas or within Australia, remember to also extend your travel insurance for complete cover whilst away. This can be done by email or phone to us.
Mondo Travel has a Privacy Policy to protect any personal information gathered by Mondo Travel in the course of arranging your travel. |
